Business Central 2023 release wave 1 (BC22) is Live.

Hi Readers,

As we all were expecting Microsoft have Released Business Central 2023 Release Wave 1 a.k.a BC22.

In this article we will see what all is announced with the General Availability. 

Starting Today Customers & Partners can start using Business Central 22.

With General Availability, we can -

  • Customer on SaaS (new environment) will be created with Business Central 22.
  • Setup Docker Container (on-Prem / SaaS).

With this announced, all new environment created in SaaS will be on Business Central 22.

If you are a developer, then you should start testing all your Per Tenant Extension (PTE) compatibility with Business Central 2023 Release Wave 1.


In coming weeks, I will be exploring product and will be posting either post / videos about what's new in Business Central 2023 Release Wave 1.

RTC Report It is not possible to instantiate the Visual Studio bridge.

Hi all, As a Navision developers I have Multiple Versions of Navision running in single Machine. As discussed Earlier in the post how to run multiple Version of RTC in single machine. So my machine have following details for RTC Versions - NAV 2009 R2    - is installed. NAV 2009 SP1  - is copied at C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\NAV 6.0 SP1 IN\ NAV 2009         - is copied at C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\NAV 6.0 IN\ This approach has been working great for execution of Classic and RTC Clients.
