Dynamics NAV 2018 - End of Life.

Hi Readers,

It's time to say Good-Bye to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018.

If you are using NAV 2018 then it's time to Upgrade to Business Central.

No More Dynamics NAV 2018.

As of Last Week on January 10, 2023, Microsoft marks the end of mainstream support for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018.

What That Means to Customers?

These are things that the customer will have to think if they are using Dynamics NAV 2018.

  • No More Cumulative Update for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018.
  • No More Regulatory/Localization Fixes for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018.
  • No More Hotfixes for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018.

You Should to Business Central.

The end of mainstream support may cause concern for businesses that rely on Dynamics NAV 2018, however, it is important to note that extended support will still be available until October 11, 2027. During this time, Microsoft will continue to provide security updates and paid support for the software.

This is the last version named as NAV, the only version with C/AL option supported in Business Central 14.

Next Product going out of Mainstream Support is Business Central 14.

Mainstream Support for Business Central 14 is on - October 10, 2023.

In conclusion, while the end of mainstream support for Dynamics NAV 2018 may cause some concern, businesses can still receive security updates and paid support during the extended support period. However, it is recommended to start planning to upgrade to a newer version of the software to ensure that your business stays up to date with the latest technology.

Hope you find the information useful.

Stay Tuned for more.
