Access to essential information is key for every information worker and decision maker. With this change, you get a nice peek preview of a related record.

Explanation -

  • While Browsing Data in Business Central if you need to get additional information you need to navigate to Card page.
  • Business Central 19, introduced Peek Preview which allow find right information quickly and save time.

  • On List pages, the Related Records will appear as dotted lines which will allow user to peek record information without navigating to card page. If a user need to open the card page they can still do it by selecting the linked record name.

Rules (For Developers) -

  • Only works with List pages that have associated card page assigned.
  • This feature is based on the TableRelation property & tile Definition.
