MSDYN365BC 2019 Wave 2 - Steps for New Implementation?

Hi Readers,

I hope you are reading all the articles about Wave 2.

This is what is asked a question via e-mail, about how to set up a new database for a customer.

In this article, we will discuss steps that we need to take for a new implementation.

For a New Implementation, we used to take following steps.
  1. Using the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment Create a New Database.
  2. Export all objects from Cronus Database.
  3. Import all objects in New Database Created.
  4. Compile all objects with sync Schema Now with Validation.
  5. Create a new company in the database via Powershell.
  6. Login to Windows/web client.
  7. Add User in Database.
  8. Setup all masters using RapidStart Services.

But how we will do it in Business Central 2019 Wave 2?

Why we cannot do it in Business Central 2019 Wave 2?

We cannot follow the above steps in Wave 2 because with this release following does not exist -
  1. Development Environment.
  2. No C/AL Objects.
In the next article, we will about how we do it with the latest Business Central 2019 Wave 2 Release.

Hope you find the information useful.
