Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 - What's New in Jobs.

Hi Readers,

As we are discussing New Features in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017. Today we will discuss changes in Job Module.

There are not major changes in Terms of Job Module, but below are few.




1. Updates on Project Manager Role Center.
Certain changes have been done on the Project manager Role Center.
New Charts have been added to Project Manager Profile.

2. A New Job Wizard is added to create a new job from Existing job.
** The Logic behind the wizard is from the Copy Job Task Functionality which was there in Previous Versions.
** If you plan to use the wizard to Create a new job, it opens the job card with a job number assigned.



3. Changes in Job Card.
A New Field is added in Job Card "Project Manager".
The Job Tasks are now added as the subpage of Job Card.
New Factbox added to Provide Details of Job.



4. New Report Added.
A New Job Quote report have been added to the Job List page "Job Quote".
This report can either be previewed or can be sent as an attachment to the customer from menu.
