In previous post we saw how to add multiple web client and host them.

Now if try to Browse the New site Created you might end up with error -

ERROR 1 - Parser Error Message: Unrecognized attribute 'targetFramework'. Note that attribute names are case-sensitive.

No we haven't done anything wrong in the Config file. The error is related to incorrect Application Pool in website.

Let's change it.

1) open IIS Manager, Select the New Site Created.

2) From Right Hand Panel Under Edit site select Basic Settings. It will popup a window as shown below.

3) Click on Select and select ASP.NET v4.0.

4) Click OK, Stop and Start Site and Browse the site.

You might end up with the error message shown below -

ERROR 2
Error message 401.2.: Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server configuration.  Verify that you have permission to view this directory or page based on the credentials you supplied and the authentication methods enabled on the Web server.  Contact the Web server's administrator for additional assistance.

This error is not related to User in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Its related to Authentication in web site created.

Resolution -

1) Open IIS Manager, Select the new site created.

2) In center Panel Under IIS, select Authentication.

3) Under Authentication Right Click Windows Authentication and set it to enable.

4) Stop and start the site and click Browse.

5) You will be able to see the new Web Client for NAV 2013 IN.

Please share issues if you have any.
